Clifton Hill Clinic is committed to both preventative care and patient follow-up. We may send you reminder notices from time to time offering you preventative health services or reminders for medical follow-up. If you do not wish to be part of this system please let us know at reception.

All immunisations require a prescription from one of our doctors. Our nurse may administer the vaccine after it has been prescribed.
Consultations for routine government funded childhood immunisations only (no other issues raised) will be bulk billed between the hours of 9am and 4:30pm on weekdays. Normal consultation fees apply for all other immunisations or if the consultation also deals with problems other than routine childhood immunisations.
If your child requires the doctor to address a medical issue in addition to a routine government funded vaccination, our policy is to book two seperate appointments on two different days. This enables our staff to properly perform both the vaccination and the medical assessment. The vaccination only appointment will be bulk billed.

Failure to attend your appointment or late cancellations within 2 working hours of your scheduled appointment may incur a cancellation fee.
Please provide the Clinic with as much cancellation notice as possible so that the appointment can be made available to another patient. If you are cancelling an appointment scheduled for that day please do not send an email, but rather telephone reception with as much notice as possible on 9489 6123.

In order to maintain a high standard of care, face to face consultations are preferred. However telephone consultations are available to existing patients who have been seen at the practice for an onsite face to face consultation within the last 12 months on a case by case basis. If you would like to arrange a telephone consultation please contact reception to discuss whether or not this can be accommodated.

Clifton Hill Clinic doctors do not routinely perform home visits. However visits may be arranged in exceptional circumstances for regular patients of the Clinic.

If we are closed and you require medical care, call the After Hours Locum Service on 132 660 between 6pm-8am on weeknights, from midday on Saturdays, and all day on Sundays & Public Holidays.
