Dr Hirruthyaa (Hirru) Manivasagan
MBBS, FRACGP, Diploma of Child Health
Originally from Queensland, Hirru studied medicine at Monash University.
She then undertook hospital training whilst completing a Diploma in Children’s Health. She subsequently obtained her FRACGP fellowship. Hirru is a warm and welcoming doctor who enjoys the variety of knowledge and broad skill-set required for General Practice.
She is passionate about empowering patients in their health and keeping up to date with evidence-based medicine. Some of her interests include paediatrics and children’s medicine, preventative health, general family medicine and chronic disease management including cardiovascular, heart, lung, kidney disease and diabetes.
She performs contraceptive implanon insertion and removal.
Outside of work she enjoys keeping active, watching movies, playing the piano, painting and spending time with her loved ones.
Hirru is available for consultations on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and selected Saturdays.
Dr Claire Kembrey
MBBS, FRACGP, BA/BSc
Claire completed a Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Philosophy and Archeology prior to studying medicine at Melbourne University, graduating in 2009.
She enjoys all areas of general practice and is particularly interested in Women’s & Children’s Health, skin excision and preventive health care.
Outside of work she is a busy parent of two small children and an avid gardener.
Claire is available for consultations on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and selected Saturdays.
Dr Gabryelle Nicholls
Gabryelle studied medicine at the University of Melbourne. She previously worked at the Western Hospital, the Royal Children’s Hospital and Sunshine Hospital before commencing her GP training. This was undertaken in North-Eastern Victoria in the towns of Benalla, Wangaratta and Mansfield, after which she obtained her Fellowship with the RACGP.
Gabryelle has worked as a GP in inner Melbourne for over 15 years and maintains an interest in women’s and children’s health and general family medicine.
Gabryelle is married with a young family and enjoys reading, bike riding and choral singing.
Gabryelle is available for consultations on Tuesdays, Fridays and selected Saturdays.
Dr Giles Brewster
MBBS, FRACGP, Dip Paediatrics
Giles studied medicine at the University of Queensland. He subsequently spent two years in paediatrics at the Sydney Children’s Hospital where he completed a Diploma in Paediatrics. Giles then spent another year working in obstetrics and gynaecology at the Royal Women’s Hospital Melbourne.
Giles obtained his FRACGP fellowship in Melbourne with specialty training in sexual health. Giles has subsequently worked as a GP in the inner north for the past decade. His main areas of interest include paediatrics, women’s, reproductive and sexual health, men’s health, travel medicine and general family medicine.
Outside of work Giles is a busy parent of four young children (including twins) born through surrogacy in the USA. He has a lifelong interest in foreign languages, particularly French. Giles is a keen runner and has completed six marathons since 2012 (Paris, Los Angeles, Gold Coast, Tokyo, Santiago & Melbourne).
Giles is available for consultations from Monday through Friday and on selected Saturdays.
Dr Wendy Lee
MBBS, FRACGP, MPH
Wendy Lee obtained her medical degree from Monash University. She has extensive experience as a general practitioner, having worked as a GP since 1997 and attained her Fellowship (FRACGP) in 2003. She has also completed additional mental health training and been awarded her Masters of Public Health in 2004.
Wendy has worked in various health services in the past, including Family Planning Victoria. She has experience in women’s health issues and has been involved in GP research in the field. She is trained in Implanon insertion and reproductive and sexual health issues.
Wendy is married and busy with her two young children, but tries to fit in her love of reading crime fiction, music and attends a weekly Zumba class with her mother!
Wendy is available for consultations on Thursdays.
Dr Julia Mooser
Julia obtained her medical degree at one of Germany’s most prestigious medical schools in Heidelberg. After moving to Australia over 20 years ago, she worked at several hospitals in Brisbane, including as a psychiatry registrar, then subsequently in occupational and corporate health. With her extensive experience Julia then moved into general practice in the inner north where she has made her home.
Julia is a warm and welcoming GP with a great sense of humour. She has a special interest in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, women’s health, skin checks, musculoskeletal issues, work cover, travel medicine and geriatric medicine.
Outside work Julia is a busy parent, keen traveller and loves reading. She speaks German fluently.
Julia is available for consultations on selected Fridays and Saturdays.
Dani is our senior receptionist and is a proud Victorian from Ballarat.
Dani initially trained in nursing, before finding her place in medical administration. She has extensive experience from a range of medical practices.
Dani is in charge of our front desk and is our main patient interface. Please feel free to introduce yourself to Dani and ask her how we can help you as a patient of the Clinic.
Alice has extensive experience in administration.
She was previously a fashion and textile designer, having spent a number of years in the industry including managing her own clothing label.
More recently he has developed a love for health and wellness and is currently studying Nutritional Medicine.
Jo is an experienced member of our reception team.
She has completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne and is currently undertaking further study in the field of medical imaging, working towards becoming a qualified ultrasound sonographer.
